Hamilton County Building and Development Jurisdictions

Building - Hamilton County is the permitting agency for projects in all unincorporated Hamilton County, but also serves the following municipalities: Amberley Village, Elmwood Place*, Indian Hill, North Bend and Terrace Park*, and Wyoming*.
*commercial permits only

Hamilton County administers zoning in Columbia, Green (excepting Northeastern), Harrison, and Miami (excepting Northwestern) Townships. It also provides contract administration for the Symmes Township and the Village of North Bend. Whitewater Township and Northwestern Miami Township have not adopted zoning. All other townships (Anderson, Crosby, Colerain, Delhi, Green (Northeastern only), Springfield, Sycamore), villages and cities in Hamilton County have their own zoning authorities. Subdivision - Hamilton County administers and coordinates subdivisions for all unincorporated Hamilton County.
